Ohio State football’s Jeremy Ruckert cut loose and finally feels like a complete tight end


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Jeremy Ruckert could not let an entire offseason — perhaps the most important one of his career — go to waste. Stuck at home in Long Island, New York, last March, the Ohio State tight end first tried working out at a friend’s house. When the coronavirus pandemic intensified in that region, Ruckert needed a home solution. So Ruckert and his father, Bill, made three trips to Home Depot one day. They gathered wood and other building materials and watched online videos on how to build their own squat rack.
