The 2019-20 college basketball season ended with a dud when the COVID-19 pandemic, freshly sweeping across the United States, forced conference tournaments nationwide to be canceled and eventually the NCAA Tournament followed suit. Eight months later and the U.S. still sits in the midst of the pandemic as the 2020-21 college basketball season prepares to get underway. For many teams across the country, that season begins on Wednesday.
