
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football is publicly moving forward with preparations for Saturday’s game at Illinois despite reports of an increase in the team’s positive tests for the coronavirus. Eleven Warriors reported the football program is dealing with a “single-digit number of cases” of COVID-19. Bucknuts first reported Saturday’s game may be in jeopardy due to an unspecified increase in tests. Lettermen Row’s Tim May reported those players who tested positive have been isolated. An Ohio State spokesperson declined comment on those reports. Several Big Ten programs have been up front with their COVID-19 testing results and released them to the public. Ohio State has not disclosed any testing numbers throughout the pandemic, citing an attempt to avoid identification of individuals who test positive.
