The Buckeyes had their second game postponed by COVID-19 over the weekend, losing a game at Illinois that could have helped drum up more confidence among voters. Instead, OSU remains at 4-0 and with the fewest numbers of games played among teams in the top 10 of this week’s AP Top 25 poll. In my ballot this week, I dropped Ohio State one spot to No. 4 after Clemson rebounded from its loss to Notre Dame with a convincing 52-17 win over Pittsburgh. Not only did the Tigers look good in the victory, but so did quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who threw for 403 yards and two touchdowns. It would be in the best of Ohio State to play as many…
