
CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Ohio State Buckeyes (4-0) are the only Big Ten team still undefeated, but need to play their two remaining conference games against Michigan State and Michigan in order to qualify for the Big Ten Championship game. Last Saturday, the Buckeyes suffered an outbreak of COVID, decided to error on the side of caution and did not play their game with Illinois. Illinois was the second game this season the Buckeyes had to cancel. The first was the Maryland game because of a COVID outbreak on the Terrapins. There’s a chance OSU may also have to cancel Saturday’s game with Michigan State because of COVID. Even if they do play end up playing MSU, there is no guarantee that the Michigan game will be played with the resurgence of the virus.
