COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football won’t play Michigan for the first time in 103 years. The last time an opponent had to cancel a game because of a coronavirus outbreak, the Buckeyes didn’t bother putting out the trailer. The game no longer mattered, and it was more important to shift all focus to Indiana than worry about getting people excited for a game against Maryland that would no longer happen. OSU didn’t need to do that when they canceled on Illinois because the decision came a little more than 12 hours before kickoff. But the Michigan game is different.
