Big Ten decision to protect Ohio State's season is the right one

The Big Ten is going to make a business decision — and it’s the right decision. The conference will reportedly waive a six-game requirement to make its championship game, which will allow No. 4 Ohio State (5-0) to represent the East division against No. 14 Northwestern (5-1) on Dec. 19. From a strictly business perspective, it makes sense. The Buckeyes get a sixth game and a chance to win a fourth straight conference championship.
