
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two more schools have been trimmed off of five-star defensive end J.T. Tuimoloau of Eastside Catholic High School in Sammamish, Washington’s list as Ohio State football continues to make the cut. His original list of seven is now down to the Buckeyes, Alabama, Oregon, USC and Washington. He’s rated as the No. 3 overall player and No. 2 strongside defensive end in the class. Tuimoloau has long been favored to OSU just as fellow Washington native Emeka Egbuka was. The five-star wide receiver was the last player to commit before the early signing period and will now work to bring Tuimoloau with him. He’ll wait until February to sign. With the Crimson Tide also on the list, landing the five-star could be the deciding factor to who ends up with the No. 1 recruiting class in the country.
