Ohio State football vs. Northwestern: Game Time Decisions for the 2020 Big Ten Championship


INDIANAPOLIS — Ohio State football seeks its fourth consecutive Big Ten Championship and second under Ryan Day when it faces Northwestern today. The Buckeyes are a 20-point favorite over the Wildcats, presumably a win away from a fourth College Football Playoff berth. They might be the better team on paper, but this team has still played a limited number of games. That shouldn’t be a knock against its playoff resume, but it does mean that Ohio State hasn’t had a reasonable amount of games for its different facets of the roster to reach their full potential. A game against Northwestern is another chance for that to happen, even if the game also happens to be for a trophy. Can the offensive line keep Justin Fields clean?
