For the fourth time in seven years and for the second year in a row, the Ohio State Buckeyes are heading to the College Football Playoff! The CFP Selection Committee announced on Sunday afternoon that it has invited Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State and Notre Dame to compete for a national championship. The Buckeyes and Clemson Tigers will meet in the Sugar Bowl at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is a rematch of the 2019 National semifinals, where Clemson beat Ohio State 29-23. That is the only game Ohio State has dropped under Ryan Day’s leadership – he is a remarkable 22-1 after yesterday’s Big Ten Championship win.
