Ohio State rallied from a 10-6 halftime deficit to Northwestern as they outscored the Wildcats 16-0 in the second half for a 22-16 win in the Big Ten championship game on Saturday in Indianapolis. With the win the feeling was the Buckeyes likely sealed their spot in the college football playoff final four. Today the final rankings came out and indeed the Buckeyes are in. Ohio State grabbed the No. 3 spot in the rankings. The Buckeyes will now play Clemson on Jan. 1 in the semifinal round of the college football playoff. Alabama takes on Notre Dame in the other semifinal game. The final rankings are Alabama No. 1, Clemson No. 2, Ohio State No. 3 and Notre Dame No. 4.
