Michigan’s Josh Gattis vouches for Ohio State playoff bid


They might be rivals, but at least one Michigan assistant coach is standing up for Ohio State. Offensive coordinator and receivers coach Josh Gattis took to social media Monday afternoon to defend the Buckeyes’ College Football Playoff bid, claiming Big Ten restrictions made a season difficult to navigate. “Regardless of polls, a 6-0 BIG team deserves in,” Gattis wrote on Twitter. “No conference has had to endure more.” To help make his case, Gattis — who just wrapped up his second season calling plays for the Wolverines — pointed to four different reasons.
