Sure there have been plenty of distractions. Seasons canceled and rescheduled. Big Ten opponents. They daily stresses of the global pandemic. At the end of the road, though, the Buckeyes likely alway envisioned a rematch with Clemson at some stage of their national championship quest. Some primary characters have not changed.
