
COLUMBUS, Ohio — There are two types of rivalries in sports. The first is the historical one embedded into the fabric of a team while the other is born out of circumstance. The historical rivalry is always important regardless of the success a team may or may not be having at the time. The circumstantial rivalry requires both sides to be at their best and can help tell an era of the sport. Ohio State has a healthy obsession with both of these categories but only one has proven to be fruitful. It’s won all but ___ games over the past ___ years against Michigan. It’s been lopsided but still draws a massive interest that the college football world was robbed of in 2020.
