Ohio State basketball drops to No. 25 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State basketball has dropped for the second consecutive week in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll after another 1-1 week, falling to No. 25. After knocking off Rutgers — who fell to No. 14 — the Buckeyes followed with a one-point loss to Northwestern on Saturday. The win along with a 3-0 start in Big Ten play has allowed the Wildcats to make their top 25 debut at No. 19. The Big Ten holds nine teams in the top 25 with Wisconsin leading the pack at No. 6. Minnesota is the only other ranked Big Ten team not in the teens after tying Northwestern the highest rise of any team from No. 40 to No. 21 for its debut. The Golden Gophers’s ranking is tied with Oregon. Houston is the only new member of the top five after Iowa fell from No. 4 to No. 10.…
