Ohio State football confirms Chris Olave’s return ahead of game against Clemson


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two days after athletic director Gene Smith posted a photo of an Ohio State football practice showing what could be a blurry Chris Olave, the Buckeyes have confirmed it. OSU’s top wide receiver has returned to practice after presumably testing positive for coronavirus, which caused him to miss the Big Ten Championship game. There had been no confirmation of his return for Friday’s Sugar Bowl CFP semifinal against Clemson, despite the Big Ten lowering the number of days a player must sit out from 21 to 17.
