This college football season has been longer for some and shorter for others, but no matter the case, it reaches its end on Monday night in Miami Gardens, Florida. Hard Rock Stadium marks the location where No. 1 Alabama will take on No. 3 Ohio State in the College Football Playoff National Championship. It is not the first time these schools have met in this event, but it is the first time they will play for the national title. In 2014, the first year of the playoff, No. 4 Ohio State upset No. 1 Alabama, 42-35, in the Sugar Bowl semifinal. The Buckeyes went on to beat Oregon the next week to win the national title.
