This is an opinion cartoon. Why should sports writers (and John Archibald) have all the fun? I want to make some predictions about the Bama vs Buckeyes CFP national championship game, too. Alabama-Ohio State score predictions from 19 college football writers I’m looking forward to an exciting game that could possibly go into overtime. The only thing that’s been predictable during this unpredictable pandemic-plagued season is how Alabama’s stars have shined. DeVonta Smith, Mac Jones and Najee Harris will all shine again tonight. I hope a healthy Jaylen Waddle gets in the spotlight, too. But sometimes it’s a future star who steps up on the championship stage. Remember, it was Smith who as a rookie was on the receiving end of Tua’s 2nd and 26. I think the Tide’s young tight end, Jahleel Billingsley, could be the one to have a breakout game tonight.
