Ohio State fans must hope history doesn't repeat

There always is some hitch when it comes to the Cleveland Browns and winning. Now, Ohio State fans have to hope there isn’t a repeat of Jan. 1 and 2 in 1995. The Buckeyes meet Alabama in the CFP Championship on Monday at Hard Rock Stadium. What does that have to do with the Browns? The last time the Browns won a playoff game — prior to defeating the Steelers, 48-37, on Sunday — came on Jan. 1, 1995, when they downed the New England Patriots, 20-13. The following day, Alabama and Ohio State met in the Citrus Bowl. The result? Alabama trailed 17-14 in the fourth quarter before scoring the last 10 points to take a 24-17 victory.
