COLUMBUS, Ohio — At 8:15 p.m. Sunday, the Browns’ playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers started. At 11:47 p.m. Monday, Ohio State’s national title game against the Alabama Crimson Tide ended. Just like the Browns’ last playoff appearance 18 years ago, the game was folded together with an Ohio State game within two days of it. Back then, Ohio State beat Miami for the national title on Jan. 3, 2003, and the Browns lost to Pittsburgh on Jan. 5. This time, it was Jan. 10 for the Browns and Jan. 11 for the Buckeyes.
