COLUMBUS, Ohio — Five years ago, Addison Nichols had never even put on a football helmet. Now, the mammoth 6-5, 305-pound offensive tackle is a top 2022 target of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Nichols has come a long way since seventh grade, where he played running back, tight end and middle linebacker. It wasn’t until his freshman year at Greater Atlanta Christian School in Georgia that he made the switch to offensive line. With the help of a growth spurt and the varsity coaching staff at GAC, Nichols is now the No. 9 tackle in the country. “It’s definitely been crazy,” Nichols told cleveland.com. “I never thought that I’d put on so much weight.
