COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football finished the 2021 season with an 8-1 record, a fourth consecutive Big Ten title and a trip to the National Championship game for the first time since 2014. The weird year filled with opt-outs who opted back in, canceled seasons that restarted and moments that made you hold your breath is over. Even if it didn’t end with the Buckeyes holding up a national title trophy, they accomplished some things. That starts with getting the Clemson monkey off their back. Now the real work starts.
