
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State has already started its spring semester, but in-person classes won’t begin until Jan. 24. That means the Buckeyes’ newest roster member will be arriving on campus over the next seven days. OSU’s 2021 recruiting class holds 21 players, and 16 of them will be early enrollees. That number sets a new record — previously set in 2020 — for players to arrive at the mid-year point. Technically these players are already college students, having already started online classes at home. But their arrival in Columbus starts their journey to helping Ohio State get back o the national championship game. Doing so would give OSU two chances to win a game inside Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
