Ohio State basketball’s winning streak ends at three as Purdue rallies late for 67-65 victory


COLUMBUS, Ohio — With the meat of the Big Ten schedule awaiting the Buckeyes after Tuesday night, Ohio State let a game get away as Purdue made big shots down the stretch to claim a 67-65 triumph at the Schottenstein Center. The Buckeyes (11-4, 5-4 Big Ten) controlled the game for the bulk of the night, leading by as much as 11 points while forcing the Boilermakers into an inefficient night from three-point range. But after missing 12 of its first 14 shots beyond the arc, Purdue hit three of its last six when it counted the most. Sasha Stefanovich’s trey with 52 seconds left tied the game at 64.
