The Ohio State men’s basketball team tends to be rather traditional. The Buckeyes have their home white jerseys and scarlet away jerseys and, at times, when the team wants to get crazy, they break out the gray alternate jerseys. But on Friday night, just after the Scarlet and Gray arrived in Madison for a top-15 clash with No. 10 Wisconsin, Ohio State dropped a bomb of a new, black, or “anthracite” uniform. The Buckeyes began teasing the new look on Twitter, changing the profile picture to the Block O with a black background and shortly after put out a video featuring forwards EJ Liddell and Justice Sueing in these anthracite jerseys with scarlet trim.
