Rutgers-Ohio State wrestling preview, prediction: Scarlet Knights have path to breakthrough win


Subscribe on: Rutgers has another shot at knocking off a member of the Big Ten’s upper echelon, and this may be its best yet. Scott Goodale calls them the “big four.” While Nebraska has been a top-10 fixture in recent seasons and Michigan looks like a national title threat this year, the conference has been dominated by Iowa, Minnesota, Ohio State and Penn State in the last decade. Those programs have combined to win the last 13 national championships (and Iowa would have been the heavy favorite to make it 14 if not for the coronavirus pandemic last year). Rutgers is 0-37-1 against the four all-time. But that could change this weekend.
