
COLUMBUS, Ohio — When Ohio State football signed its 2018 recruiting class, one could assume some tough NFL Draft decisions three years down the road. Few on signing day in December 2017 forecasted the biggest stay-or-go announcement coming from the third lowest-ranked player in that class. That Buckeyes class included fierce defensive linemen, the nation’s top-ranked offensive tackle and a par of top-100 receivers. Yet Chris Olave, ranked No. 399 nationally, caught many by surprise when he opted to return for his senior season in 2021.
