
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State basketball has jumped up to No. 13 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll following a 1-1 week in Big Ten play. The Buckeyes followed up a 67-65 home loss to Purdue with an impressive 74-62 road win over No. 10 Wisconsin, which dropped to No. 14. Given the number of ranked programs to lose games this past week, OSU could have easily been ranked in the top 10 in the new poll had it not blown a double-digit lead to the Boilermakers. Ohio State’s 12-4 (6-4 Big Ten) record is good enough for fifth in the country, but the latest poll update makes it the third-highest ranked team behind Michigan and Iowa.
