Hoops: Buckeyes have win probability of 75.7% against Penn State

Ohio State’s men’s basketball team will host Penn State on Wednesday (7 p.m. ET; BTN) and the No. 13 Buckeyes (12-4, 6-4 Big Ten) have a win probability of 75.7 percent. This is according to ESPN’s Basketball Power Index. Ohio State is also favored by 7.5 points, per William Hill sportsbook. Ohio State and Penn State (5-6, 2-5) were originally scheduled to play in Columbus on Jan. 6, but that game was postponed due to COVID-19 concerns within PSU’s program. However, there was no guarantee the game would be made up, even though that was the goal. Michigan was scheduled to play Penn State on Wednesday, but the Wolverines paused all athletic activities for two weeks due to a COVID-19 outbreak on campus.
