Ohio State rallies late to pull out 83-79 win over determined Penn State

Ohio State led by as many as 12 points as the Buckeyes got out to a 14-2 lead to start the game. But Penn State closed the first half on a 9-2 flourish to cut the halftime deficit to 43-39. Penn State used three-quarters court pressure and trapping in the halfcourt to slow the Buckeyes down as the half wore on. Lundy had 17 of his points in the first half to lead Penn State. Key and Ahrens each had nine first-half points for the Buckeyes, who gave up 14 points off nine costly turnovers.
