Ohio State basketball rises to No. 7 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State basketball has jumped up to No. 7 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll following a 2-0 week in Big Ten play. The Buckeyes’ wins came at home, knocking off Penn State 83-79 last Wednesday, then topping Michigan State 79-62 on Sunday. OSU has been ranked inside the top 10 for at least one week every season since Chris Holtmann’s arrival in 2018, peaking at No. 2 last season. It also makes Ohio State the second-highest ranked team in the Big Ten behind Michigan, which stayed put at No. 4.
