Ryan Day made two coaching announcements on Wednesday, during a National Signing Day press conference with few recruiting topics to discuss. The Ohio State head coach confirmed previous reports that the Buckeyes promoted now-former safeties and special team coordinator Matt Barnes to secondary coach to fill the hole left by the retirement of Greg Mattison. To replace Barnes, Day elected to promote quality control coach Parker Fleming to special teams coordinator.
