COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State basketball’s 89-85 road win over Iowa proved that it’s ready to play postseason basketball, and it still might not be the best version of itself. The Hawkeyes were on the brink of running away with a double-digit lead at home while the Buckeyes were entering their fourth minute without a field goal. In a game filled with shot-making, OSU had gone cold. Then Duane Washington Jr. made back-to-back threes to spark a run that not only allowed Ohio State to work its way back into the game, but also eventually take the lead. From that point on, it was a shootout, and whoever could sustain their efficient offensive play the longest would leave Carver-Hawkeye Arena with a win.
