COLUMBUS, Ohio – As he sifts through his massive list of offers, four-star running back Damari Alston has his eyes on one place in particular once the recruiting dead period is lifted: Columbus, Ohio. The 5-foot-11, 205-pound Alston comes in as the nation’s No. 272 overall player and No. 27 running back, according to the 247sports.com composite. When asked what school will be first on his visit list once the recruiting dead period gives way, Alston emphatically said, “The Ohio State Buckeyes.” The workhorse helped lead Woodward Academy to the second round of the Georgia state playoffs, falling to eventual state champion, Warner Robbins.
