Country’s No. 2 overall prospect includes Ohio State in his top schools

The Buckeyes offered a scholarship to Cordova (Tenn.) St. Benedict at Auburndale defensive tackle Walter Nolen very early in the process. And in November Nolen told Bucknuts Ohio State was one of the schools he was definitely interested in. It’s also been known the Buckeyes are one of the teams recruiting Nolen the hardest. Nolen is being recruited by Ohio State defensive line coach Larry Johnson as well as defensive staffer Lorenzo Jackson who assists Johnson coaching defensive linemen. So today when Nolen announced his Top 10 it was no surprise the Buckeyes were included on his list. On his Twitter account Nolen announced a Top 10 of Ohio State, Alabama, Clemson, LSU, Michigan, Tennessee, Florida, Auburn, Oregon and USC. Most of those schools were expected to be on Nolen’s list.
