COLUMBUS, Ohio — Kiyaunta Goodwin of Charlestown (Indiana) High School has one goal. Though it may sound simple, achieving it will likely take nearly up to the moment the four-star offensive tackle is able to sign with a program in December. After a solid junior season and wow performances at offseason camps, he’s on a mission to prove his point. “I want to become the No. 1 player in the country,” Goodwin told cleveland.com. When Goodwin initially earned an Ohio State offer, he hadn’t yet earned a 247Sports composite ranking. That came 18 days later when he debuted as the No. 280 player. At the time, he was 425 pounds — not exactly a polished, elite ercruit clearly ready to compete for a job as a freshman and command one as a sophomore.
