
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s 2022 class is well underway, giving the program a chance to shift some of its focus to 2023. We’ve entered the window in which it’s safe to start at least zero in on the candidates to be the class’ first addition when comparing it to the last two cycles. If the 2021 and 2022 classes are any indication, the player will be an Ohio kid who is up to the challenge of being a leader on the recruiting trail. Many of those candidates have held offers for months, and as the Buckeyes figure out who that commit will be, it can start to work on the depth behind him.
