
From even his earliest days, Ohio native Jonathon Cooper could remember loving the game of football and being aggressive at six or seven years old. “I was always a physical kid, I was always running around and I loved hitting people,” Cooper recalls. The love of the game, the joy of hitting people hasn’t gone away for the redshirt senior defensive end, who played for the team he grew up watching: the Ohio State Buckeyes.
