Ohio State vs. Michigan did it again, but this time on the basketball court. It’s nothing new to have a Buckeyes vs. Wolverines matchup on the gridiron be one of the most-watched college football games of the year. This time, it’s a game between the two rivals in hoops that set some viewing records. According to CBS Sports PR, the game between No. 3 Michigan and No. 4 Ohio State on Sunday was the most-watched college basketball game of the year on any network. That means it beat North Carolina vs. Duke and Kentucky vs. Louisville. In fact, it was the highest-rated game since a contest between Kentucky and Tennessee on March 2, 2019.
