What Kyion Grayes’ commitment means for Ohio State football: Buckeye Recruiting


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football typically makes headlines by grabbing receivers already established among the nation’s elite. Kyion Grayes, the Arizona prospect who committed to the Buckeyes on Sunday, may still be growing into the receiver he will become. Grayes welcomes comparisons to Chris Olave, not only due to their west coast roots and similar start low in the recruiting rankings. He also stands 6-1, 170, with similar physical traits and skills to the Buckeyes’ deep threat. That doesn’t necessarily mean Grayes fits into the receiver two-deep in 2022 and beyond.
