On Sunday 4-star wide receiver Kyion Grayes announced he had committed to the Buckeyes. It was commitment No. 11 for Ryan Day’s 2022 recruiting class. It continued the run of excellence Day and his Director of Player Personnel Mark Pantoni have been on with their two most recent recruiting classes. With Grayes’ commitment the Buckeyes extended their lead in the 247Sports Composite team recruiting rankings. The Buckeyes now have 240.87 points compared to No. 2 LSU who has 192.85 points. The number of points is not the only place the Buckeyes’ 2022 class is No. 1. Day, Pantoni and the Ohio State assistant coaches currently have the most 2022 commitments of any school in the country with 11. LSU is again No. 2 with 10 commitments.
