We’ve been waiting for a formal announcement of when spring practices will start for Ohio State, and we finally have our answer. According to an OSU spokesman, spring drills will begin on March 19, with the annual Spring Game scheduled to take place on April 17. The reason for the delayed announcement can be traced to the same reason almost everything has been thrown in tumult this year, the coronavirus pandemic. Ohio State ended its season on Monday, January 11, and at that point head coach Ryan Day said his team needed some time off to visit with family and take a deep breath from all that came with the isolation and testing involved in fielding a team.
