Ohio State football and the recruiting battle for 4-star cornerback Jeadyn Lukus


COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State football program is still in the middle of revamping its defensive back room after a few years of lackluster recruiting. That started in 2021 by landing two top 100 cornerbacks and has continued into this class with Jaheim Singletary and Jyaire Brown. But it can’t stop there. Some of the Buckeyes’ top options have come off the board over the last two months, but there are still viable candidates left. Jeadyn Lukus is the highest rated of those players. WHO: 4-star defensive back who plays for Mauldin (South Carolina) High School. SIZE: 6-foot-1, 175 pounds RANKING: The No. 6 cornerback in the class of 2022, the No. 38 player.
