Ohio State basketball to play Oral Roberts in opening round of NCAA Tournament as a No. 2 seed


INDIANAPOLIS — Ohio State is headed to the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in the Chris Holtmann era. The Buckeyes finished their regular season with a record of 21-9 and 12-8 in the Big Ten. They will head to Indiana next week, as a No. 2 seed to take on No. 15 seed Oral Roberts. It’s the first single-digit seed since Holtmann’s first season and first No. 2 seed since 2013. In total, the Big Ten is sending nine teams to NCAA Tournament. The Golden Eagles’ ended its season with a 16-10 record and 105 in the Summit League. They earned an automatic bid by taking down North Dakota State in the conference championship game.
