COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ty Lockwood of Tennessee’s Independence High School has known the Ohio State football program from the outside as a fan, but now he is getting to see what it’s like on the inside. Lockwood, a 6-foot-5, 225-pound tight end who does not currently have a 247sports.com ranking, has had quite the past month. He was offered by his favorite school growing up, Texas A&M, on Feb. 11, and then by LSU on Feb. 23. But sandwiched in between those offers came a big one on Feb. 17 – Ohio State.
