COLUMBUS, Ohio — On March 6, the Ohio State basketball team had to stand there and look with disbelief into the eyes of the Buckeye parents inside Schottenstein Center after a 73-68 loss to Illinois. The Buckeyes had just been held scoreless for the final 3:48 of a game on their home floor to close out the regular season on a four-game losing streak. Instead of going straight to the locker room and dealing with their disappointment, they had to stand along the baseline.
