COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State football team used its home state to put together the No. 2 recruiting class in the country in 2021. The Buckeyes brought in all but one of its in-state players rated inside the top-150. The only miss was wide receiver Lorenzo Styles Jr. and that was a result of landing higher-rated options. The next example of home-state focus could be Aamil Wagner. WHO: 4-star offensive lineman who plays for Wayne High School in Dayton, Ohio. SIZE: 6-foot-6, 250 pounds. RANKING: The No. 13 offensive tackle in the class of 2022, the No. 134 player. THE BATTLE: Wagner earned an OSU offer on March 8 and 11 days later cut his list to six including the Buckeyes with Auburn, Kentucky, Notre Dame, Penn State and Stanford.
