Look: Body cam footage of Ohio State safety Marcus Hooker's arrest released

Ohio State safety Marcus Hooker was arrested earlier this month due to operating a vehicle while impaired. Head coach Ryan Day commented shortly after regarding the incident. Now, body cam footage from the arrest was released on Tuesday. Hooker was suspended from team activities after the arrest. The video shows Hooker asleep in a car outside a Mcdonald’s. The report states that Hooker, 21, refused a breathalyzer at the scene after being pulled over. Hooker will be arraigned on a misdemeanor charge on Friday. Before that, Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day was asked about the safety at his virtual media availability prior to Ohio State beginning their spring practice. “Yeah, we’re very disappointed and take what happened very seriously,” Day said. “We’re going to let the process play out.
