Can Master Teague hold off young challengers in Ohio State football’s running back competition?


COLUMBUS, Ohio — As intrigue builds for the promising youth in the Ohio State football running back competition, Chris Olave reminded everyone not to sleep on the veteran. The Buckeyes’ senior receiver posted a chart of 40-yard dash times on his Instagram story earlier this week. No. 1 on this list, surprising no one, sat current Baltimore Ravens running back J.K. Dobbins at 4.32. Next up? Not Olave. Not fellow receiver Garett Wilson. Not even quarterback Justin Fields, who is on a publicly stated quest to run a sub-4.4 time at OSU’s Pro Day. The 4.35 runner-up time belonged to Master Teague. Olave’s post provided no context for when, where or how that time was recorded. Then again, does it matter?
