No. 10 Purdue volleyball topples No. 9 Ohio State


COLUMBUS, Ohio (Purdue Sports) — After falling 20-25 in the first set, No. 10 Purdue volleyball (12-5) battled back against No. 9 Ohio State (15-2) to secure the program’s second win of the season over a top-10 program. The Boilermakers took sets two, three and four closing out the afternoon meeting with a 3-1 score (20-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-22). In total, the match saw tied scores 27 times en route to the Boilermaker victory, including nine tied scores and six lead changes in the first set alone. Two Boilermakers recorded double-doubles with Grace Cleveland (17 kills, 11 digs) and Caitlyn Newton (13 kills, 11 digs) helping the program hand No. 9 Ohio State its second loss of the season and first on its home turf.
